SALES EXECUTIVE

 

JOB SUMMARY

SkyRiver Technology Solutions is searching for western and central region Sales Executives.  A SkyRiver Sales Executive works with a closely knit, motivated team focused on providing a high quality cataloging service that simultaneously provides significant savings to libraries.  Because of SkyRiver’s successful implementations, exceptional customer care, and increased brand awareness, interest in SkyRiver now is stronger than ever, which in turn calls for expanded sales staffing. Successful candidates also will have potential for advancement as the company develops the need for additional sales management. This position currently reports to the President.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Direct and participate in the qualification, tracking and closing of sales in the assigned territory

·         Develop sales strategy for the assigned sales territory

·         Determine participation in and attend trade shows

·         Weekly reporting of all sales activity as well as regular forecast reports

·         Assist with sales initiatives in other regions, as necessary

·         Maintain regular contact with existing SkyRiver subscribers to ensure their continued satisfaction

·         Provide feedback to Operations regarding potential product and service enhancements

 

REQUIREMENTS:

·         2+ years of previous sales experience or equivalent.

·         Ability to work independently, while also being an active team player

·         Excellent account management skills.

·         Extensive travel required.

·         Minimum of a Bachelors degree from an accredited institution.

 

DESIRED:

·         Previous library or library systems vendor experience is a plus.

·         MLS

 

This position is field based.  Salary commensurate with experience.  Base salary plus commission plan and benefits.
