Binghamton University Libraries seek an enthusiastic, collegial, and service-oriented Engineering Librarian to serve as an integral part of the Research and Instructional Services Team providing high quality research, collection development, and instructional services for the BU community. The Engineering Librarian assesses, develops and manages the engineering collections; serves as liaison with the Watson Engineering School faculty and students; provides reference and instructional services; and represents the Libraries to appropriate campus departments.

 

This is an entry-level, tenure-track faculty position. Required qualifications include an MLS and recent experience in the engineering or science disciplines. The Engineering Librarian reports to the Acting Director of Public Services. Review of applications will begin on May 21, 2012 and continue until position is filled.
