LIBRARIAN III (Electronic Resources Training Coordinator)

Salary:  $48,083 Annually

Location:  Main Library, West Palm Beach, FL

 

Responsible for the System Long-Range Plan for Internet, Computer and Electronic resources (I/C/E) training.  Develops and presents classes, both lecture and hands-on for public and staff.  Coordinates the work of the system-wide library staff that presents I/C/E classes to the public; directs the Computer Center and supervises the Center’s support staff; participates in the evaluation of new library technologies and electronic information sources; contributes as part of the Main Library Serials and Research teams and acts as a member of the Main Library Supervisor On-Call team to provide consistent handling of security and policies.  Minimum Qualifications:  Master’s Degree in Library Science accredited by the American Library Association (ALA); minimum of  two (2) years of professional library experience, including one (1) year of supervisory or administrative responsibilities.  Preference given for experience with: Library computer technologies; conducting presentations or instructions; team and/or project management experience.
