Do you want to have an impact on the future of public library service in Saskatchewan?  Do you want to hone your policy development skills and consensus building abilities in a complex environment?  If so, the Provincial Library and Literacy Office is hiring a Literacy and Learning Partnerships Coordinator who will play a pivotal role in planning innovative library and literacy related initiatives at the provincial level.

 

In this role, you will apply your leadership and research skills to lead committees, perform research and analysis, and develop policy.  You will detect patterns and trends, create innovative solutions, and articulate a compelling vision for the future of library services.  Working closely with public libraries, school divisions, First Nations stakeholders, early learning organizations, and other groups, you will utilize your strong negotiating skills to build partnerships and achieve consensus on shared initiatives.

 

A Masters of Library Science or an ALA-approved equivalent is a required qualification.  Occasional travel to locations around the province will be required and a valid driving license is necessary.
