Position: LIBRARIAN II (Multicultural Outreach)
Salary: $45,000 Annually
Location: Main Library
3650 Summit Boulevard, WPB
Provides bilingual outreach services to the Palm Beach County Library’s diverse community. Builds partnerships with ethnic organizations/communities and develops relationships with foreign language media. Oversees multi-cultural system programming, selects foreign language materials and markets Library services to non-English speaking and bilingual residents of Palm Beach County. Provides reference service to English and Spanish speaking patrons at the Main Library covering its public service desk schedule, which includes evenings and weekends.
QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s Degree in Library Science accredited by the American Library Association; minimum of one (1) year of professional experience. Preference given for experience developing library programs. Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
