Supportive environment with training provided

Great opportunity for a junior software engineer with a well known global
entertainment company who is genuinely interested in kernel OS and
filesystems development. Programming mainly in C++ and C, our client designs
hardware and electronics for a number of consumer entertainment systems. Due
to the current generation of products having reached the end of their

with filesystems and Linux kernel code bases. With gradual training provided
to be familiar with the company's products, key responsibilities in this role

for next generation products. Aside from hard core software development, this
role will provide you the opportunity to select hardware, CPUs, and boards
that will provide optimal performance for the new systems.

What you need for this position:

1+ years of C++ and C software development (recent graduate software
engineers are encouraged to apply)
Linux kernel development, modifying internal subsystems
Good understanding of Linux filesystems and Linux OS architecture
Capablility in producing complex real-time and multi-threaded code
Computer Science or Software Engineering degree (other relevant engineering
degrees are also considered)

What's in it for you:

Work with leading technologies in the area of consumer entertainment
technologies
Great salary and bonus with excellent benefits
Friendly and talented team to work with
Stimulating and challenging engineering projects to be part of
This is undoubtedly one of the finest positions a Graduate or Junior Software
Engineer can have in this Industry.

The job is located in Sydney (near Bankstown).
- Please email Edward Man - Edward@mcs-consulting.com.au - to apply.
- Telephone number - 02 9481 8888
- Resume needs to be in MS Word or PDF format and a covering letter is
advantageous

I encourage those that meet the above criteria actively or passively looking
to apply as this is not an opportunity to be missed.
