[LIBJOBS] Austria - Vienna - Librarian -

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), an independent United Nations organization headquartered in Vienna, Austria, with 151 Member States and a staff of 2300, serving as the global focal point for international cooperation in the safe and peaceful use of nuclear energy, is seeking a Librarian for the IAEA Library. This individual will provide metadata and quality control for the Library's information sources.

The successful candidate should have at the minimum:

  • University (or equivalent) degree, preferably in library or information science.
  • At least 2 years of experience in indexing and in using controlled vocabularies (thesaurus system).
  • Experience in descriptive cataloguing using AACR2, ISBD, MARC21.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
