[CHILD-YA] Extended call for papers, satellite meeting in San Jose

The IFLA satellite meeting of "Child and Youth Reading in the Transition to a Digital Culture: Emerging Perspectives on the Role of Libraries" has extended its submission deadline for paper proposals to 1 March 2016.

The IFLA Libraries for Children and Young Adults Section would like to invite you to submit a proposal to present at the IFLA satellite meeting on the campuses of San Jose State and Santa Clara Universities in California USA on Thursday 11 August 2016.
 

We are particularly interested in presentations on the following topics:

1. Deciding between promoting digital or print for children and youth reading

2. Library impact on children's and young adult literature 

3. How do library spaces promote children and youth reading in an increasingly digital world?

Important Dates:

1 March 2016         Deadline for submissions

early March 2016    Notification of acceptance

April 2016                Final program and full registration information

30 May 2016         Deadline for submission of final papers
