Duties: The Information Services Office (ISO) provides research and analysis to NIST scientific and technical staff throughout their research and publishing cycles. ISO's Lab Liaisons work collaboratively to help NIST laboratory personnel in such areas as assessing the impact of their work, identifying the best places to publish, and gathering and analyzing industry data to determine market potential for their discovery. The incumbent will conduct strategic research and impact analyses using a variety of scientific/technical and business resources, as well as citation assessment and visualization tools. The incumbent will be expected to establish and maintain relationships with assigned customer groups; prepare an array of written marketing, instruction, and analysis products in a variety of formats; and speak effectively on a broad range of scientific/technical information and industry topics.
