Job Description:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  
 
Lesley University is seeking a part-time (26 hours per week) Reference and Instruction Librarian. This is a great opportunity for a librarian who desires part-time hours and is eager for collaboration, challenge, and variety. Responsibilities include providing reference and instruction services for students, faculty and staff of Lesley University at the Episcopal Divinity School at the Sherrill Library in Cambridge, MA and in the library at Lesley's Art Institute of Boston at 700 Beacon Street, Boston. The incumbent will deliver services online and in person, featuring print and electronic resources in visual art, education, religion, social sciences, and liberal arts and sciences. Duties include collaboration with colleagues on collection development, resource evaluation, and creating LibGuides. This is a benefits-eligible position.

Requirements:
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:  
 
Master of Library/Information Science degree required from an ALA- accredited library school. A degree in visual arts or experience working in visual arts library strongly preferred. Previous reference and library instruction experience required, with current research skills and expert level knowledge with Web 2.0. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Must be able to work 26 hours per week to include at least 1 week night, Saturdays, and some weekday hours. Shared holiday coverage.


Additional Information:

Grade 25 - Salary Range 1 FTE $43,260-$59,699; Salary Range .74 FTE $32,012-$44,177
