Position: LIBRARIAN II (Head of Children's and Teens' Services)
Salary: $46,681 Annually
Location: Belle Glade Branch
(Located in the rural Glades area of Palm Beach County near Lake Okeechobee)

Plans, provides and supervises the delivery of library services to children, young adults, parents and caregivers. Supervise four paraprofessional employees at 3 Branches; prepares and presents children's story times/other programs for children and teens; provides collection development, reference and readers' advisory services and outreach to the local schools and community; participates in long-range planning and committee work; oversees the Summer Reading Program; oversees the building with regard to the health and safety of staff and patrons as needed.
Qualifications: Master's Degree in Library Science accredited by the American Library Association; minimum of one (1) year of professional library experience. Preference given for experience Supervising the work of others; in public library reference/collection development; working with children/teens/parents/caregivers; planning programs for children/teens.
