Dear Colleagues,
We are all hopeful that the Marrakesh Treaty will be ratified by 20 countries and come into force very soon. This is a very exciting time, but one which requires us to look at new resources and new methods for accessing and sharing those new resources. Certainly the WIPO Accessible Book Consortium will be a major player in cross-border sharing once ratification is complete, but I am sure that many avenues for sharing will be explored.
I am gathering information on activities of our members around ratification and/or implementation of the Marrakesh Treaty.
If you are aware of, and/or involved in, activities to promote ratification either for your country or in general, please send a note to this list sharing what you’re doing.
If you are making plans for implementation activities once it’s ratified, please also share that information.
