The NCSU Libraries is seeking applicants for the position of User Experience Librarian for Digital Media. Has primary responsibility for digital media spaces in both the Hunt Library and the D. H. Hill Library, including music and media production rooms, and the usability lab, as well as providing support for visualization labs and studios, assisting students and faculty in the use of these spaces for research, teaching, and learning. Requires ALA-accredited MLS or equivalent advanced degree in library or information science. Experience with digital media including video and audio production and an understanding of the effective application and potential of current and emerging digital media technologies to meet student and researcher needs.

 

The Libraries offers a highly competitive salary in recognition of applicable education and experience for this position. Librarians have non-tenure track faculty status (without levels of rank).
