Rutgers University Libraries seek an experienced, innovative, and service-oriented individual for the position of Archivist in the Institute of Jazz Studies, John Cotton Dana Library on the Newark Campus. Requirements: Master's degree from an ALA-accredited institution and/or a Master's degree in Archival Studies. Extensive knowledge of and experience in the development of EAD finding aids. Extensive knowledge of issues relating to managing and preserving digital collections. Awareness of national issues and trends in archives and in collections services. Ability to meet tenure and promotion requirements.
