[LIBJOBS] Looking for experienced public librarian interested in working in Namibia

Greetings,

My organization – IREX – is preparing a proposal for institutional development work to support resource centers in Namibia. We are looking for qualified candidates to fill one of the key personnel spots, a Library & Information Services Institutional Development Specialist.

Minimum qualifications include a master’s degree in library and information science and a minimum of ten years in public/community library management, experience working with library systems or consortia preferred. This is an approximately two-year commitment, and the position will be based in Namibia.

A position summary with responsibilities, additional information about qualifications, and application instructions is available on our website. Interested candidates should submit their information as soon as possible, as the proposal deadline is rapidly approaching.

Best,

Meaghan O’Connor
