Job Summary: Serve as E-Science Librarian and Lab Liaison to assist NIST scientists with scientific/technical research, publishing, editorial policies, publication assessment, and citation impact analysis. Collaborate with assigned lab on research discovery and dissemination projects. Write analysis and evaluation reports, and instructional and marketing materials. Assist with tracking, bibliographic control, and assessment of NIST publications. Monitor and report on trends and best practices in scientific/technical publishing and e-resources, use of metadata for enhancing discovery, and preservation of digital scientific data.

Job Summary: In this position, you will perform original and complex copy cataloging of science/technical publications in various formats for input in the Library's Integrated Library Systems (ILS)and OCLC Worldcat or digital repository; provide metadata to item/object level. You will maintain access integrity to NIST resources by keeping up and implementing current catalog practice. You will coordinate metadata activities with Digital Repository, NVL, NVM for seamless access to all content.
