Job Posting: Student Success and Engagement Librarian

NCSU Libraries, Raleigh, NC USA

The NCSU Libraries invites applications and nominations for the position of Student Success and Engagement Librarian. The Student Success and Engagement Librarian develops and delivers a range of creative and informative student learning experiences. This position works closely with faculty and other university partners to create meaningful connections with key audiences. In addition to reaching faculty through the courses they teach and through their academic departments, this position develops relationships with student-oriented programs and services such as Women in Science and Engineering (WISE), TRIO Pre-College Programs, academic enrichment programs in the arts and undergraduate research, and academic success initiatives from Summer START to Exploratory Studies. The incumbent plays a key role in leading highly successful collaborations and activities such as Code+Art, Long Night Against Procrastination, Make-A-Thon, Making Space, and Summer of Open Science. In addition to increasing the reach of these programs to students and faculty who haven't participated before, this position creates networks that identify and engage students and faculty as partners in developing and teaching new content. This position serves on library-wide committees, task forces, and teams. NCSU librarians are expected to be active professionally and to contribute to developments in the field.

Review of applications is underway; position will remain open until a suitable candidate is found. See vacancy announcement with application instructions at AA/OEO.
