Location		Abu Dhabi United Arab Emirates   Paris-Sorbonne University and United Arab Emirates signed on February 19th November 2006, an agreement for an international partnership allowing the implementation of Paris Sorbonne University in Abu Dhabi as the first French overseas campus.   Paris-Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi (PSUAD) who has now more than 600 registered students, is a combined experience of two French universities: Paris-Sorbonne University, dedicated to Arts and Humanities, and Paris-Descartes University, specialized in Law, political Sciences and Economics.
Main duty		Responsible for collection development and cataloguing of monographs, serials and electronic resources within the focus areas of the University
Responsibilities		1-      To participate in the provision of reference services 2-      To participate in information literacy training 3-      To participate in collection development activities 4-      To provide current awareness services to academic departments
Profile		-               -  Bachelor's degree in Librarianship -               -  5 years of recent professional experience -               - Knowledge and experience of AACR, DDC, Marc21, Unimarc and automated library systems will be essential -               - Innovative, proactive, team worker, adaptability to foreign cultures, good interpersonal and communication skills. -               - Availability (required to do duty after normal working hours according to a schedule) -               -  English and French languages (oral and written) are mandatory. - Arabic language is an advantage
Conditions		-               - Local contract with 6 months' probation period
