AUSWEB is one of the leading Website hosting providers in Sydney/Australia.
We're looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic all rounder to join our
core team with a focus on web services & web hosting support for our
customers.

Positions are available for Level 1 & Level 2 Sales & Technical Support staff
depending on experience as well as a Junior to Mid level System admin with
the right experience - Linux admin experience preferred but Windows Server
also suitable.

The position primarily involves supporting new & existing shared, virtual &
dedicated web hosting customers via phone & online support tickets and
assisting out team of admins who monitor network & server infrastructure.

Skills required:

Ability to confidently handle a range of technical support issues, with
excellent phone manner!
Ability to explain technical issues in easy to understand terms
Highly-motivated ? can show initiative and results!
Willing to learn & adapt to new skills & issues, take direction & work well
within a team
Knowledge or experience with web hosting platforms & administration of
Linux/Windows hosting environments & control panels eg. cPanel/Plesk
HTML/CSS/PHP/MySQL/Apache/DNS/Mail etc.
Some knowledge or experience with common web applications & standards eg.
WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, Online Shopping Carts etc.
Intermediate to Advanced Linux knowledge and familiarity with virtualization
platforms (VMware, XEN, Virtuozzo etc) highly desirable
We are rapidly growing in the of Enterprise/Cloud virtualization with VMware
& XEN, as well as potential for offerings in web design/development/SEO
services for new & existing customers.

There are numerous opportunities for the right candidate to become part of a
team & move up and learn valuable new skills!

Must be an Australian citizen or resident
Must live within Sydney/Australia
Location: Paddington
Salary: Full-Time salary ? 3 Month Trial to start
