LIBRARIAN II (Head of Youth Services)
Salary: $44,000 Annually
Location: Greenacres Branch, 3750 Jog Road, Greenacres, FL
Plans, provides and supervises the delivery of library services to children and young adults. Supervises professional, paraprofessional and student employees. Prepares and presents children’s story times and other programs. Provides collection development, reference and readers’ advisory services. Participates in long-range planning and committee work. Oversees the Summer Reading Program. Minimum Qualification: Master’s Degree in Library Science accredited by the American Library Association; minimum of one (1) year of professional library experience. Preference given for experience in supervising the work of others; working with children.
