Librarian III - Youth and Family Services Manager
$49,198 - $78,545/Year
Description: The Librarian III acting as the Youth and Family Services Manager is responsible for all youth and family services department operations and staff. Plans and monitors the department’s activities for patrons from birth to eighteen and their families. Participates in the planning and evaluation of programs, services, and goals for the entire library.
This position is Open Until Filled.
Minimum Qualifications: Required Education: Master’s degree in Library and Information Science or closely related field
Required Job Experience: Three to five years of public library experience involving children’s services, youth and family services, information systems, cataloging, technical services, and some supervisory experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.
Certifications Required: Must possess state Library certification.
Other Qualifications: Requires a valid driver’s license.
