Librarian II - Outreach Services Manager
$41,657 - $66,506/Year
Description: Under general supervision, performs professional library work in independently performing, managing, and implementing outreach services to the community. In the community outreach services area, responsible for creating and implementing a unified, library-wide approach to the delivery of library services directly to the community beyond the library buildings. Reports to the Library Director.
This position is Open Until Filled.
Minimum Qualifications: Required Education: Master's degree in an ALA accredited program in Library Science
Required Job Experience: 3 to 5 years experience in library services and some supervision; or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities.
Certifications Required: Certification as a librarian by the Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Education Library Board.
Other Qualifications: Requires a valid driver’s license.
