INFORMATION SERVICES MANAGER FOR LARGE CONSULTING COMPANY --  SEOUL, KOREA

 

Bain & Company is looking for a dynamic Information Services Manager for our Seoul, Korea office.  The Information Services manager will be responsible for the direct operation of the Seoul Information Services department including the supervision of two information specialists.  The manager will plan and oversee all aspects of the daily operations of the Seoul information services team including coordinating research services within the Seoul office and as part of a larger Bain network; developing and participating in the delivery of training programs for consultants; marketing the Information Center products and services; evaluating and managing commercial research products and services and a variety of other duties.  The manager will also conduct research for consultants utilizing electronic, print and other resources.  The Seoul IS Manager will participate as an active member of a global network of 25 Bain Information Centers around the world.

 

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

·         Masters of Library Science degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience in a consulting, financial services or other professional services environment.

·         More than 3 years Information Center managerial experience preferably in a consulting , financial services or other professional services environment

·         Demonstrated proficiency in conducting complex research inquiries using electronic and print resources in a fast paced professional services environment such as consulting, financial services of other business setting

·         Proficiency with standard business online and other  research tools

·         Knowledge of major electronic products and services and their application in an intensive research environment including mediated and end user services required

·         Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills required

·         Strong project management skills required.
