Manager of Cataloging/Indexing Vacancy ­ 2015

 

Library and Information Services of the Maryland Department of Legislative Services is looking for a manager of cataloging/indexing.  The library maintains a public policy and government documents collection of 95,000 volumes and provides reference and research services in a customer-oriented environment. Primary responsibilities include managing two catalog/index librarians, original and copy cataloging of state government documents in various formats, interlibrary loan management, managing the indexing of legislation in an online environment, and indexing print publications.  Requirements:  MLS degree, 5 years supervisory experience in a professional library setting, experience using OCLC, AACR2, RDA, LCSH, and integrated library systems, preferably SirsiDynix.
