Position:   Librarian I (Youth Services)

Salary:       $42,714 Annually

Location:  Wellington Branch Library, Wellington, FL               

Plans and conducts children’s services that include creative programming, storytelling, reference, collection development and readers’ advisory services for babies, toddlers, school-age children and young adults.  Oversees the Teen Volunteer program; promotes the library to schools, gives tours of the library and represents the library in the community.

Qualifications:  Master's Degree in Library Science accredited by the American Library Association. Preference Given for Experience:  Public library youth services; using the internet (must specify on application).  Also desirable:  Knowledge of children’s literature (must specify on application).
