Information International Associates, Inc., (IIa), an information and knowledge management firm in Oak Ridge, TN, is now accepting resumes for the full time position of Intelliegence Community Knowledge Manger. This person is responsible for a knowledge-centric organization by providing the right information to the right decision makers at the right time. The result is a commitment to put information to work for the DNI and the IC. This position is located in the Washington DC area. An active TS/SCI with CI Poly Clearance is required for this position.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages the knowledge sharing process at the highest level
- Leads efforts to move the organization to knowledge centricity
- Able to articulate the benefits of knowledge sharing and the vision to ensure KM initiatives are adopted by the organization
- Ensures the best, relevant information for IC is accessible to all personnel
- Implements knowledge sharing strategy in accordance with DNI guidelines
- Champions cross-organizational IC communities of practice as appropriate
- Forms relationships with contributing IC entities
- Fosters cultural change to implement knowledge sharing strategies
- Looks across IC processes to capture tacit and explicit knowledge
- Facilitates communities of practice across organization to foster innovation and improved performance and collaboration
- Requires effective team management and facilitation skills
- Function as Mission Collaboration Strategist to ensure executive leads have the programmatic and functional expertise to support and execute key IC objectives
- Coordinates and works with multiple organizations within the IC, DoD, Domestic, Diplomatic and NATO communities
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- BS or equivalent and 7 years related experience; or MS or equivalent and 4 years of related experience; or PhD and 2 years related experience.
- TS/SCI with CI Poly Clearance
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Demonstrated experience in the role of IC strategic planning and evaluation of strategic planning effectiveness
- Demonstrated ability in analytic and critical thinking.
- Demonstrate experience with community wide collaborative tools
- Demonstrated ability to review and retain large quantities of data and information to be able to synthesize and develop recommendations
- Strong oral and written communication skills
