===================
I am currently working with a large Australian PaaS provider who due to
growth are now seeking to bring on board 4 very talented Linux Systems
Engineers at either Level 2 or 3.
Starting ASAP - interviewing immediately (ideal start 2nd week in June 2011)
More detail:
Companies worldwide crave new technology to keep their businesses moving
forward. The latest trend that is seriously becoming apparent is the move
towards the cloud. This is becoming an attractive option for many Australian
and global companies, the costs sustained for managing internal system are
proving too much. The solution is to host your IT elsewhere. And now it
works.
Flourishing is the best single word to describe this IT hosting company. The
company is one of the fastest growing tier 1 hosting providers in Australia
and have received multiple awards. The company is made up of a group of
highly technical people with a thirst to keep the company moving forwards.
Sitting at the forefront of technology, offering great training and growth,
they are a company that people join and grow their career with.
Due to increased work-load with some of the company?s major clients they
are now looking for a highly technical Level 3 Senior Linux Systems Engineer
to come and join their cohesive and friendly team on a salary of up to around
$100,000 + super (neg.).
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Linux Engineer to put their
support engineering and customer service skills to the test. The company is
looking for someone who loves Linux and the possibilities around Cloud-based
platforms and infrastructure, who keeps abreast of the latest technologies
and thrives working in a small, friendly team. There is a team of Engineers
that deal with 2nd level problems with additional diagnosis before passing to
yourself as necessary. You will be part of the hosting, development,
implementation and support across mission critical systems.
This will be a systems administration role providing highly technical
solutions. To be successful in this role, you will possess the below skill
set:
? 5+ years Linux experience (minimum)
? Networking administration
? Firewall administration
? System monitoring tools (e.g. Nagios/Netsaint)
You will also be very technically minded, adaptable and ethical. The team are
very close and though a growing company, they are very much a family team and
relevant training and certification support is available.
The company is not corporate, and each member of staff has a strong belief in
keeping the company?s current momentum moving forwards.
Excellent communication skills are essential and if you feel you meet the
above criteria, are looking for a new challenge and have a high level of
technical competence, please apply by forwarding your resume to Adam
