Responsibilities - CUMC
The Family Resource Center Medical Librarian will oversee the Family Resource Center and provide for the informational needs of Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital families in its functions of research, clinical services and education. Collaborates with physicians and nurse practitioners to identify and provide approved medical resources for families. Responsible for exploring grant opportunities to continue to enhance the Family Resource Center. Responsible for collecting data to identify future initiatives to help MSCHONY families.
Master's Degree in Health Sciences or Library Sciences required. Minimum two years of library experience required with some supervisory experience preferred. Bilingual (Spanish) required. Grant writing skills highly preferred. Membership in the Medical Library Association's Academy of Health Information Professionals is preferred.
