Hello colleagues!
We're looking for a proven leader to join our Library Journal 4-star library. The Santa Clara County Library District serves a community that understands the value of early literacy and youth education, which are seen as one of the core benefits we provide our public. They understand that our youth services provide quantifiable benefits, as evidenced by their recent 82% approval for a library special tax. This community investment has ensured long-term financial support for library service, including robust services for our youth.
The ideal candidate for our Youth Library Services Manager will have significant experience designing highly effective results-based services--all centered around community priorities and ambitious strategic planning. They will have a proven track record of collaborating with government agencies at the local level, partnering with schools, and engaging the community in planning and decision making. They will have experience creating spaces and experiences that delight families, and foster a love of reading and learning.
If you’re a leader excited to join our team and deliver services at the forefront of our field, we hope you will apply.
