EIFL (Electronic Information for Libraries) has announced a new Innovation Award call - for public libraries that contribute to literacy in their communities.
The call is open to all public and community libraries in developing and transition economy countries, that use information and communication technology (ICT) in creative ways to improve literacy of children or adults.
The prize is US$1,500, and publicity through EIFL's wide network of contacts.
The deadline for nomination is 12 October, 2015.
Applications are accedpted in English, French, Russian and Spanish.
