OhioLINK seeks a Systems Librarian to support the overall mission of the group and in particular work closely with the Coordinator of OhioLINK Catalogs and with personnel from OH-TECH and OhioLINK member institutions to assist in planning, implementing, and managing central library catalog functions.
Role and Responsibilities:
The Systems Librarian will work closely with the Coordinator of OhioLINK Catalogs and with personnel from OH-TECH and OhioLINK member institutions to assist in planning, implementing, and managing central library catalog functions. This position will also provide support for OhioLINK’s library catalogs and the integration of local systems, the print lending system, and the OhioLINK link resolver and associated services. The Systems Librarian will communicate with library vendors and other OhioLINK staff relevant to integrated library systems operations, print lending and link resolvers. This position will also assist in customer support issues related to integrated library systems, print lending, and link resolvers.
