Job Title: Information Access and Privacy Administrator (permanent position)
Job Description: This position is responsible for the administration of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy (FOIPOP) Act process and for other information access and privacy (IAP) processes for the assigned client department. Specifically, the IAP Administrator will manage the processes as outlined in the Act, will make recommendations on FOIPOP applications and will represent the client department on requests for reviews of departmental decision by the Act’s Information and Privacy Commissioner. The Administrator is also responsible for managing requests under the Routine Access and facilitating pro-active disclosure. This position provides operational advice and guidance, including training and education, to the client department in matters regarding access and privacy and promotes a culture that supports openness and transparency.
Salary/Benefits: $61,163 - $76,454
