The User Experience Manager will join a collaborative team in managing operations, programs and services of the library system. We are looking for a dynamic leader with a background in library services who can improve capacity while rolling out changes to stay current with best practices in interactive and innovative environments. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, inspire and motivate people, generate optimism and encourage achievement beyond what is expected. The Santa Barbara Public Library provides a broad range of library services to residents of the City of Santa Barbara and to county residents through branch libraries in Buellton, Carpinteria, Goleta, Los Olivos, Montecito, Santa Ynez and Solvang. The Library circulates more than 1.5 million items annually and provides outstanding outreach to the larger community. Assignments may also include directing branch operations.
