Dear Colleagues,
IFLA section Libraries for Children and Young Adults is now calling for papers for two sessions to be held at next IFLA conference in Cape Town:
- a session which aims to highlight innovative, inspiring partnerships in children and young adults' libraries, in different areas of library work, in different countries and contexts.
Please see the call at http://conference.ifla.org/ifla81/node/1027
- an off-site session in one of Cape Town City libraries, co-organized with PRAESA (Project for the Study of Alternative Education in South Africa). Following the session in Lyon 2014, "Libraries in Africa meeting the needs of children and young adults", section CHILD continues, as it is only fitting in South Africa, to focus on African libraries for young people, in an off-site session that will include a library visit. Presentations will focus on best practices in any of the African countries – practices that can inspire librarians in all continents.
Please see the call at http://conference.ifla.org/ifla81/node/1028
Looking forward to receiving your proposals,
Many thanks and a very happy 2015!
Viviana Quiñones
