LIBRARIAN IV (Branch Manager)
Salary: $52,528.00 Annually
Location: Wellington Branch Library, Wellington, FL
Performs professional and supervisory work planning and directing activities. Recommends and implements goals and objectives. Supervises 24 full-time and seven (7) student employees in programming, reference, collection development, readers' advisory, circulation, youth and volunteer services. Conducts interviews, counsels and trains staff. Promotes quality customer service and represents the library to the community. Minimum Qualifications: Master's Degree in Library Science accredited by the American Library Association; minimum of three (3) years of professional library experience that includes two (2) years of supervisory or administrative work. Preference Given for Experience: conducting oral presentations/speaking in public; managing a library's major department/branch; training/supervising personnel for more than two (2) years; using automated circulation systems (must specify on application).
