LIBRARIAN I (Youth Services)

Salary:  41,471 Annually

Location:  Wellington Branch Library, Wellington, FL

 

Plans and conducts children’s services that include creative programming, storytelling, reference, collection development and readers’ advisory services for toddlers, school-age children, and young adults.  Promotes the library to schools, gives tours of the library and represents the library in the community.  Minimum Qualifications:  Master’s Degree in Library Science accredited by the American Library Association (ALA).  Preference given for experience in public library youth services; using the Internet.  Also desirable:  Knowledge of children’s literature (must specify on application).
