Position: LIBRARIAN V (Technical Services Head)
Salary: $59,130 Annually
Location: Library Technical Services/Annex

Administers the activities of the system-wide Technical Services Division. Supervises professional and paraprofessional staff involved in the cataloging and processing of print/non-print library materials and the maintenance of the Library's bibliographic and item databases. Develops and implements policies and procedures relating to Division responsibilities; recommends Division goals and objectives to Library Administration.
Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Library Science accredited by the American Library Association; minimum of four (4) years of professional library experience including three (3) years of professional supervisory/administrative work. Preference given for experience Performing cataloging work using OCLC; with a local integrated library system; writing specifications; working with vendors in the outsourcing of cataloging/physical processing of print/non-print materials (must specify on application).
