Position: Library Director, Allegheny General Hospital and West Penn Hospital
Status: Full-time

Job Summary
Directs the library and information services of Allegheny General and West Penn Hospitals.

Responsibilities
- Organizes, oversees and ensures the quality of library operations and coordinates information resources across the network.
- Establishes short and long term goals and objectives which reflect the priorities and information needs of the organization.
- Manages library finances.
- Promotes the effective use of information resources and services.
- Directs human resource management for the department.

Requirements
- Master Degree in library science or information science with emphasis in library science.
- 5 years experience required; 3 years of which are in management and preferably in health science or special library.
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment. Must be able to work in a dynamic and complex environment and take appropriate actions.
