The University of Michigan Library invites applications for the position of Director of the Digital Media Commons (DMC). The DMC is a set of state-of-the-art multimedia programs, services, and spaces dedicated to continuously transforming and innovating learning and knowledge environments. The Director is responsible for leading an innovative sandbox focused on discovery, learning, invention, innovation, demonstration, and deployment. We seek a collaborative leader, with vision and character inspiring continued excellence for our learning ecosystems; a professional able to incubate ideas, balancing technological innovation with learning, teaching, and research needs. It is critical to be able to guide strategic innovation with intent to leverage new discoveries for campus.
