JOB LOCATION: Assigned Library Locations
HOURS PER WEEK: 40 Hours per week
SALARY RANGE STARTS AT: $33,800 annually
Share your passion for serving the community at the La Porte County Public Library. Building on a strong tradition of outreach services, innovative use of technology, and collaborative school partnerships. We are seeking an enthusiastic librarian primarily serving our Northern branch communities. Reporting to the Branch & Outreach Services Manager, the Librarian will join our team of exciting, busy, and community-oriented branch libraries. The Librarian will collaborate and coordinate with branch staff to provide dynamic programming, provide outstanding customer service, and deliver a wide range of outreach services to youth. We are looking for a driven self-starter with people skills who has experience in a fast-paced library. This individual will be charged with leading the group into new and uncharted areas, but also retaining the best of what works now as the library moves ahead.
